Voting is indeed everyone's right. Because of this we can exercise our freedom to choose who we want to sit in the government to lead our nation, hopefully, to progress. Through voting we can choose if want a bill to passed. Just recently, the Prop 19 did not pass the polls for people voted against it. This particular bill is about the legalization of various marijuana activities. But as you can see that through the power of voting this bill did not pass to become a law.

New Orleans started it all! A little history: Back in 2003, a New Orleans waitress named Shana Sassoon create a one page voter guide called "Shana's Voter Guide for the Pissed Off" She spent $117, printed 5,000 copies and they spread like wildfire. Thus was born the League of Pissed Off Voters home-made local voter guides. This voter guide came from the same great New Orleans tradition. Thank y'all for making voter guides an art form and keeping the NOLA tradition alive!
